These four pilars belong to a WOII memorial monument, located next to the Peace palace

This monument is created by Appie drielsma, it was realized on the initiative by a group of old resistance people. The four pillars of the monument symbolize the four religious groups (Neutral, Roman catholic, Protestant and Jewish) living in Dutch society at the time of the second world war.
